Xueyan Cai

HCI researcher @Zhejiang University

I am a master student in Industrial Design Engineering at Zhejiang University, focusing on design and engineering. At Zhejiang University, I am under the supervision of Prof. Cheng Yao. I received my Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Jiangnan University.

My work has been published in top-tier Human-Computer Interaction venues, including CHI, IUI, and IDC. As the first author, I won a Best Short Paper at IDC '24. My projects have also been recognized with international design awards and competitions, such as A' Design Award, K Design Award, James Dyson Award, and China Collegiate Computing Contest Human-Computer Interaction Innovation Contest. My outstanding performance has earned me the National Scholarship in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2024, awarded to the top 1% nationwide.

I am looking for a PhD position in HCI 26fall 🎓.
